CertNode Delivery Receipt
A tracking number for digital goods
When you buy a digital product — a download, course, license, or membership — there's no carrier scan to show it arrived. A CertNode Delivery Receipt is the digital equivalent: a sealed, timestamped record that the purchase was delivered and, where recorded, accessed.
What it shows
- The order it belongs to, and when it was purchased.
- That the merchant marked it delivered — and when.
- Access events recorded by the merchant or platform — and when.
- That each event was independently timestamped (RFC 3161) and committed to a public, append-only log at the time it happened — so the record can't be backdated.
What it does not claim
“Delivered” reflects the merchant marking the order delivered; “accessed” reflects access recorded by the named source. It does not assert the identity of the person behind an access, and it is not a statement about any dispute outcome.
