What is Reflex?

Reflex is an automated dispute response system that defends your business against chargebacks and payment disputes. When a customer disputes a charge, Reflex automatically gathers evidence, generates a compelling AI narrative, and submits everything to Stripe within seconds.

Evidence Score Explained

Reflex calculates evidence quality based on available proof:

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast does Reflex respond to disputes?

Usually within 60 seconds of dispute creation. Evidence gathering and submission happen automatically via webhooks.

What if I don't have delivery proof?

Reflex will submit whatever evidence is available. Even without delivery proof, you can still win disputes based on transaction details and customer info. However, evidence score will be lower.

Can I disable Reflex for specific disputes?

Yes! In your Disputes Dashboard, click "⋯" menu → "Disable Autopilot". You can also disable it globally in Settings.

How long until I know the outcome?

Typically 60-75 days. Stripe and card networks need time to review evidence. You'll receive an email notification when the decision is made.

What if I lose a dispute?

Unfortunately, some disputes are unwinnable (e.g., stolen cards). Reflex does its best, but can't guarantee outcomes. You can appeal lost disputes via Stripe.

Does Reflex work for physical products?

Yes! If you provide shipping receipts with tracking numbers, Reflex will include them as evidence.
